With 5centsCDN, you can securely pull content from a private AWS S3 bucket<\/strong> using AWS authentication. This ensures content is cached on the CDN while reducing AWS pull request charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enabling AWS Authentication<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Select Origin Authentication<\/strong>
    In the pull zone creation page, choose AWS Signature V4<\/strong> as the type of origin authentication.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Provide AWS Credentials<\/strong>
    Enter the credentials required to access your private bucket:
    • Access Key ID<\/strong> \u2013 your AWS access key.<\/li>
    • Secret Access Key<\/strong> \u2013 your AWS secret key.<\/li><\/ul>\u26a0\ufe0f Ensure the credentials have permission to read objects from the S3 bucket. Keep them secure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Configure Midgress Cache Size<\/strong>
      Specify the cache size (in GB) for the CDN to store requested content.\n

      • Default:<\/strong> 1 GB<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Increasing the cache size reduces repeated pull requests from AWS and saves costs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Deploy the Pull Zone<\/strong>
        Once AWS authentication and cache size are configured, click Deploy<\/strong>. The pull zone will start caching content from your private bucket.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
