You can rotate your live stream or VOD files using the transcoding filter option.
How to rotate live stream vertically or Horizontally?
Please follow the steps,
- Login to 5centsCDN console.
- Go to Live streams and select Push/Pull or Scheduled playlist.
- Click the Manage button of your stream name.
- On the redirected page, click the Transcode option.
- Enable a transcoding profile(The filter option does not work with the source).
- In the Filters section, you can select Horizontal Flip or Vertical Flip. These profiles are available by default.
- Click the Save button.
- The deployment will take up to 15 mins, you can check the preview after that.
How do rotate VOD files vertically or Horizontally?
Please follow the steps,
- Login to 5centsCDN console.
- Go to Video Encoding and select Global Present Profile/Filters.
- You can rotate the video in the following ways

Horizontal Flip

Vertical Flip

Rotate 90° – Clockwise

Rotate 180° – Clockwise

Rotate 90° – CounterClockwise

Rotate 180° – CounterClockwise

- We cannot apply the filter option directly to a VoD file. So you need to select a transcoding profile(eg: 1080p).
- Scroll down and find the option Apply Filters.
- Select the Horizontal or Vertical profile and click the Save button.
- Go to File Manager and click the file name that you want to rotate.
- Click the Transcoding Icon at the top of the file manager.
- Select the transcoding profile(Filter configured) and click the Yes button.
- Once the transcoding is completed you can copy the playback URL of the transcoded file.
