5centsCDN offers 3 ways to implement SSL for your Zones to ensure secure communication over the Internet. They are Shared SSL, Custom SSL and Let’s Encrypt SSL.

Shared SSL can be implemented in an instant way by enabling it under your Dashboard. To do this follow the below steps.

  1. Login to your 5centsCDN console and Select your Zones by clicking the Manage button.
  2. Under Security section select SSL, then select the SSL TYPE as Shared and Save it.
  3. Now you can simply use HTTPS with your zone when you request files from our CDN.

The second option to integrate SSL is by using the Custom SSL option with your own certificate. To do this, follow the below procedure.

Note that the Custom SSL option is only available in Standard, Volume, and Premium networks. This option is not available in the Enterprise network

  1.  Login to your 5centsCDN console and Select your Zones by clicking the associated Manage button.
  2.  Under Security, click on SSL, then select the SSL TYPE as Custom. Now provide your Certificate, Private key, and CA Bundle in the corresponding requested options and Save It. Once our team has verified the uploaded contents, the SSL will be activated and you will be notified over email. You are then ready to go with your encrypted delivery.

The third option is to enable Let’s Encrypt SSL for your CNAMES. You can add CNAME and deploy Let’s Encrypt SSL to hide the 5centsCDN domain and use your own CNAME for delivery. Please follow the steps.

  1. Login to the 5centsCDN control panel.
  2. Navigate to your Zone and click CDN Resource
  3. Add your CNAME in Custom CNAME
  4. Click the SAVE button
  5. Go to Security and click SSL.
  6. Select Let’s Encrypt SSL as the SSL Type
  7. Click the SAVE button
